This week was a zone challenge filled week. We were chugging sprite, downing saltines in under a minute, INHALING cinnamon, & getting demolished by wet tortillas.
The water tortilla challenge is the best thing I've ever done. Using a tortilla to SLAP someone, who's mouth is chipmunk cheeked with water... into OBLIVION, is exactly how you'd imagine it to be. Life changing.
Planned Leonard's baptism with him and he was SINGIN' the whole time "I'm getting baptized!! I'm getting baptized on the THIRTIETH!!!!"
He is best friends with everyone in the ward already. Not shocked. He's my best friend too.
We now have a handshake & he wants us to do it at church for everyone and not tell anyone we planned it. "We'll tell 'em GOD TAUGHT US"

God has been preparing her to receive the gospel and she is READY for it. First lesson she asked for another copy of the Book of Mormon to give to her neighbor.
Who are we teaching now?? HER NEIGHBOR.
"It feels like a dream!!!!" -9 year old Carl when he came out of the water.
Carl's WHOLE baptism felt like a dream.
The massive goggles he rocked??
The fortnite dance moves he performed for us afterwards during his "welcome to the ward"????
A DREAM.
So honored I got to attend his special day.
ANOTHA haircut. For Sister Larsen this time. Someone get me a license ASAP.
Volleyball night was, as usual, a HIT!
DJ absolutely dominated on the court.
Probably from the spiritual HIGH he was on after learning about God's plan for him.
No but actually DJ has changed since we first met him. He was SKEPTICAL (& I was skeptical of him actually progressing) and then he read the first TWO BOOKS OF NEPHI, came to church & is absolutely loving it.
You never know who's ready!!! Forever thankful I can rely on the spirit to tell me what to do & what to say!!
