We got a French lesson from a cajun cop!!

Guess how long it takes Firestone to change your oil & rotate your tires?!?!? We will never know because we waited over THREE hours and they still hadn't gotten to our car! We left... did we have to go back the next day? Maybe. 

MY IRRATIONAL FEAR OF SUDDENLY FALLING THROUGH A CEILING HAS NOW BECOME A RATIONAL FEAR. 

Sister Cropper & I were just bopping along when her foot broke STRAIGHT through the floorboard on a SECOND floor balcony.....

The whole Hammond quad got Quentin L. COOKed by the sun this week. 4 lil shedding snakes leaving a trail of dry skin everywhere we go. Hehe. 

Kathy LOVED reading Enos, but she pronounces his name like Anus... 

"That anus sure is powerful!!"

Also when we taught her about Joseph Smith she was ENTHRALLED!! This girl was on the EDGE of her seat, "what happens next?! I can't believe I've never heard this before!!" 

Sister Correia kept referring to zone conference as homecoming on accident??? 

Zoco is now Hoco. I hope I get asked!!!! 

HA kidding.

I already did. 

General Conference was a DREAM & I ate enough food for 12 pregnant whales. 

Do I regret it? Very much. 

Would I do it again if I could go back? Without a doubt. 

BUT the amount of food I stuffed myself with doesn't even COMPARE to the spiritual FEAST that conference was. I left feeling HOPE FILLED.

Christ is the answer to every single concern, question, or fear that we have. He is the solution! 

ALSO, remember when Christ fasted for 40 days & 40 nights?? And then Satan appeared to him and tempted him 4 times?? 

(Sounds absolutely miserable & terrible) 

Matthew 4:11 makes it sound like angels came and ministered to Christ afterwards, "Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him." 

BUT NO! 

LOOK AT THE JOSEPH SMITH TRANSLATION! 

JST Matthew 4:11 

"And now Jesus knew that John was cast into prison, and he sent angels, and, behold, they came and ministered unto him."

In his time of suffering and pain, Christ thought about John. He sent angels to minister to and comfort a friend who was ALSO struggling. He didn't take one thought for Himself, even though He was going THROUGH it. 

Christ is perfect. Let's all try & be like Him.
