We put a Book of Mormon on Facebook market place, and got ROASTED left & right. Look in the images attached to see my FAVORITE message. 

THIS WEEK WE MET ETHEL. 

I have no words for Ethel. She is everything good, brave, & wonderful in this world. 

She RAN up to us while we were street contacting & BEGGED to meet with us. 

Our first lesson with her was POWERFUL. The Spirit was just ENVELOPING us like a massive blanket! There wasn't a dry eye in the room. When we told her we had a Book of Mormon just for her, she was OVERWHELMED with gratitude. 

Our next meeting with her was 2 days later. She told us she finally got the courage to leave her abusive husband YESTERDAY and he is now in jail. He was upset with her for meeting with us so he threatened her, but she said that NOTHING could stop her from studying the Book of Mormon with us.

She RAN from him while he was attacking her!! Her injuries were so bad she had to go to the hospital & the doctors wanted her to stay overnight, but she told them "no, I've got to study with my sisters!!!!!!" 

With bruises and scars all over her poor body, Ethel bore her testimony to us of the love and peace she feels when she meets with us and when she reads the Book of Mormon. 

I love her and her love of the gospel. 

Also she told me I look like I should be an actress so that gives her bonus points for SURE. 

While knocking on less active members doors we met CHRIS!! The member who had lived there moved years ago, but we were MEANT to meet Chris. 

We taught him the restoration and this man's mind was BLOWN, "you guys just answered my question!!! You just came over and answered my question!!!" Apparently he's always wondered why there are so many churches. I love providing clarity for people. 

So many people don't even REALIZE they are searching for the gospel!!! WE NEED TO HELP THEM FIND IT!

We got a little nervous at ULM the other day, so I channeled my inner ricciardi and JUMPED onto the nearest bench! Put my arms UP & yelled "I FEAR NO MAN!!!!!!!"

I highly recommend it. 

The people around us thought I was crazy.... until we told them about the restoration!!! 

Then they thought we were insane. 

BUT we aren't here to make the Gospel likable!!  We are just here to make it ATTAINABLE!!

BROCCOLI BOMBS

There was a package for me at zone conference & this new elder asked me, "do you know an elder spangler??? I can't find him!!" 

This poor boy felt so bad when I pointed at my tag. 

Michael supposedly left town the day before his baptism!!!! At least that's what he TOLD his roommate to tell us as he HID inside his house. 

Sometimes I think Satan had a good thing going with the no agency plan. 

This week was a LEARNING and GROWING week. Again. Been praying for UNYIELDING & POWERFUL faith & God has been showering down his answer!!!! 

"for ye receive no witness until after the trial of your faith." Ether 12:6 

Currently stopped in the trials station!!

RIP to any boy I've ever thought was attractive. 

Went on exchanges with Sister Thelin!!  She might be the coolest person in the LBRM. 

MAN IT WAS FUN!! 

We talked about how teaching the youth and kids are how we make the church really GROW!!!!!  Within the NEXT HOUR we found and taught a 9yr old, a 10yr old, AND an 11yr old. They all LOVE the Book of Mormon now. 

"I've ALWAYS wanted to be miss friggie!! wait, miss fergie?? What's the teacher's name on the magic school bus??"- Sister Gilmore, an AVID fan of miss frizzle. 

Zone conference was jam PACKED with GOODNESS!! 

-Hard things=opportunities for miracles 

-Joseph Smith??? 100% a prophet called by God. 

-Signs is a fire game. 

-BE CREATIVE

-President Amos is perfect 

It SNOWED in Louisiana!!! The same time we got locked out of our apartment!!! I don't know WHO forgot the keys!!!!!!.............. my bad. 

Nicholas came to stake conference & THOROUGHLY enjoyed it! As much as a 12 year old boy could.... "well that was LONG" but he's coming back everybody.

Some questions I asked myself this week:

Am I persevering WITH God? 

When things get hard do I blame Him or do I trust Him? 

God really was SMACKIN' me & sis. Gilmore around this week. Just being nice & reminding us that we really are the DUST of the earth. We can make ALL the goals we want, put in ALL the effort we can... BUT this is God's work and it's all about HIS timing. Not ours. 

Been humbled. 

I love my Father in Heaven, even when He loves me enough to hurt me. ESPECIALLY when He loves me enough to hurt me.

KYLA & NICHOLAS WANT TO BE BAPTIZED!!!!  She's COMPLETELY stopped smoking AND drinking coffee. The joy the gospel has filled her home with is UNREAL. But it is real!!! That's what the gospel does. FILLS your life with peace & joy. 

REMEMBER HOW ABBIE CAN SEE DEAD PEOPLE?????  Her home is DARK & her life is DARK. We focused on light and joy in our last lesson with her. SHE WAS SMILING. SHE WAS LAUGHING. We left her home feeling GOOD and with her feeling even better. The spirit is powerful and happy. Let it fill your home. 

I love Monroe and never want to leave. I don't think I will. Come visit!
