THAT is a miracle. THAT is an answer to prayer. 

The spirit told us NOT to message one of our referrals the other day. 

The next day our ward mission leader called us and told us NOT to message that same referral?????? 

God is WATCHING out for us. 

I love the spirit so much. 

1. I'd probably be kidnapped by now if I didn't have it. 

2. None of my friends I'm teaching would progress bc it's ALL the spirit. I'm just a nice little instrument to help people feel it! TRYING not to get in it's way. 

3. I feel SO extremely sad without it???

I never want to be without the spirit. NOTHING that drives away the spirit is worth it.

Jesus lives in Monroe

This week I watched the Bible videos starting at the last supper all the way until Christ's Resurrection. 

Let's just say the hymn "I Stand All Amazed" was BLASTING in my head. 

"I stand ALL amazed at the love Jesus offers me. Confused at the grace that SO FULLY he proffers me. I TREMBLE to know that FOR ME He was Crucified. That FOR ME, a sinner, He SUFFERED, he BLED and DIED." 

"Oh it is WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL to me." 

Jesus Christ was 

Whipped

Spit upon

Mocked

Wounded 

Persecuted 

And killed. 

For me. 

For you.

It's an overwhelming thought. 

ALL that suffering ALL that agony. 

He was willing to go through because of His incredible and perfect love. 

For you. 

The love He has for you is never ending!!  Never changing!!  It will NEVER go away.

I love my Savior.  I love Him so much it sometimes hurts.  He has never ever left my side & never ever will. 

I love Him & I love putting on this tag everyday.  I never ever want to take it off. 

We called a man this week & asked if he wanted to hear a message about Jesus!!!!  He said "what does that even mean??  Jesus lives next door??" 

Ummm can I move into that neighborhood??? 

Also no, we don't want to share a message about your cousin Jesus?? This Jesus is 100% more interesting than your cousin. 

He disagreed....... 

We had a "health and safety day" on Tuesday.  A full day of meetings and cleaning.  No proselyting allowed. 

THAT DAY I promised myself I would never go to the doctor or the dentist on my mission. 

Purely as a promise to myself that I would stay healthy!!!!!!!!!!  NOT because I'd rather die than go without my mom!!!!  And NOT because I don't know anything about insurance!!!!! 

Heavenly Father said "get over it" and the NEXT DAY I snapped my permanent retainer!!!!!  With a dum dum!! 

I am a dum dum.

This week we were in quarantine..... I might have been exposed to Covid...... BUT it really was a blessing. We made some SOLID plans to help our ward members!!!! 

"View church members as really advanced investigators.... they all have the same needs!!  They all need spiritual nourishment" - A LEGEND aka brother green.

Look out for your ward members!!!  Your friends and neighbors!!  Minister to them!  Let them know you care about them, EVERYONE needs to be reminded of that sometimes.

FORGOT to say AMEN at the end of my prayer the other day?????  Everyone was very confused. 

ALSO showed the wrong side of the sign to a man while doing a free Jesus books booth!! 

He was VERY confused as I aggressively smiled at him and pointed OVER and OVER again at a BLANK sign. 

Currently admitting myself into the nearest insane asylum. 

An old man thought we were selling puppies & was VERY upset with us when he found out we were actually just trying to help him receive exaltation.

EMMA wants to come to church!!!!  She said she'd only come if she didn't have to call me "Sister Spangler" because she "JUST CAN'T DO IT"....

The CREAMERY here is my new home.  Walking into this little diner is like being transported to the Sandlot movie. 

The people?? OLD

DEBORAH is planning on being baptized!!!!!  March 26th is gonna be a GOOD DAY!!!!!! if she doesn't stand us up........again......

I've been going through the 12 step program & I would HIGHLY recommend reading through the WHOLE thing. The empathy you gain for those with addictions is unreal. 

The ROOT of pride is ENMITY.

We made a giant articles of faith poster for Brother Oglesby!!!!!!!!! He hung it up on his wall  & wanted a picture in front of it. 

We've been cleaning his yard weekly& he's STARTED COMING BACK TO CHURCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then he offered to come to lessons with us!! AND drive people to church?!?! 

SERVICE WORKS MIRACLES!!!!!! 

Brother Coenen gave us 5 giant bags of frozen homemade biscuits. And two jars of his bees honey. hehehe. Love that family.

NEW YEAR'S EVE AS A MISSIONARY WAS FIRE

Here's the night. 

10:00pm- celebrated the new year with sparkling cider & went to bed. CRAZY! 

11:50pm- woke up to what we thought were fireworks!!!  PSYCH IT WAS A HOSE!!!!  SPRAYING OUR BUILDING TO PUT OUT A FIRE!! 

12am- said hi to the firemen on our roof!! 

12:15am- FRANTICALLY took everything out of our closet as the fireman hacked through our neighbors wall & punctured some nice holes in ours! 

12:30am- waded through PUDDLES in our living room that had flooded from their hose! 

12:45am- had firemen walk through our house & told us we were fine!  

1:00am-mopped up the nice pool downstairs 

1:15am- back in bed snug as a bug. A smokey lil bug. 

WHOOP basically our utility box (right under my bedroom & our neighbors apartment) had caught fire in the middle of the night!!! 

ALL SAFE THOUGH!!!!!

I painted an 85 year old's nails & it was the funnest thing I've ever done. Obsessed with Sister Meeks. 

Remember how we got bashed last week??  We saw him again and guys. We BOLDLY testified. BOLDLY. He THEN promised us that he would stop reading Anti AND read the Book of mormon everyday this week!! And pray about it daily!! We will see how it goes.....
